.....meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is
written in it. Joshua 1:8 NKJ
But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in His law he meditates day and night.
Psalms 1:2 NKJ
Meditation should be an integral part of your daily existence. Not only does it do the body good, but it is so needed in your Christian walk.
Today's Meditation
"Be still and know that I am God"
Walking meditation or Prayerwalking (in a safe environment) is a good way to get some physical exercise while meditating or praying. Instead of walking mindlessly, you should walk slowly and deliberating repeating your scripture or affirmation statement over and over until it resonates in your spirit.
Seated meditation is the most common type of meditation. Start by sitting comfortably on the floor or in a straight back chair; keeping the spine long and eyes gently shut. Begin with slow and conscious breathing to assist in quieting the mind. This is the opportune time for you to sit quietly in God's presence and allow Him to minister to you. He already knows your needs, learn to allow HIM to do the talking.
